Esher, Surrey

A scheme of two and three bedroom apartments occupying a wooded corner plot at a focal point in the local conservation area. The building lines, siting and scale of the high-density redevelopment which replaced a single structure was designed to form a positive relationship with neighbouring residential property but to be robust enough to respond to the busy road to the fore. Generous landscaped gardens and protection of the existing mature tree cover aided integration of the design which reinforced the established pattern of built form and open spaces on adjacent sites.
