Harnham Hill – Salisbury

Demolition of the existing light industrial unit, an anomaly in this residential area, allowed and redevelopment of the land with a series of semi-detached houses and terraced housing.  Rejected at committee, it was the modest scale of architecture that sought to introduce much needed lower cost housing to the area and the site wide environmental improvements that won the day at appeal. Topography and tree retention issues were factored into the site planning
