Eastbourne

The 0.84ha site located at the edge of the town centre was occupied by a large, dominating commercial structure in a predominantly low rise residential enclave of Eastbourne.  Demolition and wholesale redevelopment delivered a scheme of 36 low cost houses/starter homes ranging in size from 2-4 bedrooms. The positioning of built form on site was carefully configured to respond to the residential development that abuts the site on three side.
